VIVAnews - Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Indonesia's economic growth reached 6.5 percent in the first quarter-2011 (year on year). In nominal terms, gross domestic product (GDP) of Indonesia reached Rp1.732, 3 trillion.
When compared with the previous quarter, economic growth as measured by the amount of GDP was up 1.5 percent. The increase was driven by agriculture, livestock, forestry, and fisheries accounted for 18.1 percent. The increase was driven a big harvest.

It is estimated that, throughout 2011, Indonesia's GDP could reach Rp7.400 trillion. With a population of Rp241 million, income per capita in 2011 could reach U.S. $ 3,550 or Rp30, 7 million per year.
